Where when and why did you start snowboarding?

I started skating when I was 15 and the following winter I switched from skiing to snowboarding to stick to the sideways style. Mayrhofen Penken was and still is my home mountain and it's still the best to ride pow there with the whole crew.

When did you realize you want to become a pro snowboarder?

Growing up surrounded by mountains there was no real need to travel for us but it was sick to get your hands on free stuff. Our crew pushed each other and we wanted to get better and things just happened.

What’s your favourite terrain right now and where do you want to improve in the future?

With good snow home is really fun but the real challenge is out in AK and places like that. Riding natural terrain is the most fun I think but a good session in the park is sick as well.

What’s the best/worst thing about being a pro snowboarder?

The best is to travel, ride sick new mountains and meet people. There is no bad thing really.

Who are your influences in the sport itself and in life in general?

In snowboarding it’s a lot of people. I looked up to Jamie a lot because of his style, these days I love watching guys like Gigi and Nico ride. Shooting with Scott Sullivan is always a blast and to see my little girl smile is amazing for sure.

What are your goals in the coming seasons?

To stay injury free. Had a bunch this year and it definitely sucks to be off the board.

What is your favourite place/resort to ride and why?

Don’t know really, always depends on how the snow is and what crew you're with.
