Where, when and why did you start snowboarding?

I started snowboarding when I was 6, thanks to the friends of my father who were the owners of the snowboard club of Les Deux Alpes.

When did you realize you want to become a pro snowboarder?

This dream looked too far to me when I was younger, so I never thought about it, it came naturally.

What’s your favourite terrain right now and where do you want to improve in the future?

I’m pretty sure it’s in back country, I had a lot of good time lately back into the wild. It’s the terrain where I feel the best, I’m the only one to decide to do that one cliff or another thing, and that’s what’s gnarly. Now I really have to improve in pipe if I want to get a chance to go in the Olympics, so that’s what I’m gonna do in the future. As soon as the Olympics are done I'll go back in the back country.

What’s the best/worst thing about being a pro snowboarder?

Travelling and meeting people thanks to the snowboard is so cool. But when you’re a pro snowboarder you realize that you don’t have so much time left to do anything else...

Who are your influences in the sport itself and in life in general?

My big influences are the videos and the trends but no one in particular; there are good things to get from everybody. My parents and my homies are really important to me.

What is your favourite resort/place to ride and why?

I don’t know I like every spot where the snow is good, like Arlberg, Baker, Alps… And I don’t really have a favourite place, cause I like to move often, I don’t like to get used to something or to a place.

What are your goals in snowboarding over the next seasons?

I could say some goals but I’ll probably change my mind by then. I just want to feel good whatever I do.

What did you feel when you realized that you had just won the Arctic Challenge in 2009?

Man, I felt damn good!!! I also realized that with the help of the luck you can manage a lot of things.
