Die Jungs von Millencolin sind schon fast auf ihrer “Pennybridge Pioneers” Ten Year Anniversary Tour! Einen Premieren Stop in Schweden haben sie schon am 2. April zelebriert, aber jetzt geht's richtig los!

Swedish punk rockers Millencolin will be touring in Europe in April this year to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the release of their fourth and most successful album Pennybridge Pioneers. The album, named after band’s hometown, was recorded in Hollywood (US) and produced by Brett Gurewitz, owner of Epitaph Records and Bad Religion guitar player. During the April tour, Millencolin will play the album in its entirety, plus a bunch of classic songs from the three first albums. "What we thought would only be a couple of Pennybridge anniversary shows turned out to be a full World tour!” says guitar player Erik Ohlsson. “The response so far in America and Australia has been amazing so it feels great to take this tour back home to Europe now!"
The Örebro based quartet of vocalist/bassist Nikola Sarcevic, guitarists Erik Ohlsson and Mathias Färm and drummer Fredrik Larzon released their latest album Machine 15 in 2008. The album produced by Lou Giordano (Taking Back Sunday, Plain White T’s), has received rave reviews in the UK press; Kerrang called it an album full of “irresistible harmonies, crystal clear guitar and see-your-face-in-it production”, Rock Sound described it as“Chock-full of anthems, a record of great diversity”, while NME stated that ”Millencolin manage to rise above many pretenders”.
