Snowbombing, Waffeln & Method's Highway to Hill Contest im Vans Penken Park

Liebe Freunde des guten Geschmacks: Am Wochenende findet neben dem legendären Snowbombing, des größten elektronischen Musikfestivals in den Alpen, der Highway to Hell im Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen statt. Dazu gibt es wie im letzten Jahr leckere Vans Waffeln für umme auf der Grillhof Alm.
Zum Snowbombing:
Die Veranstaltung zieht sich eine Woche lang durch ganz Mayrhofen. Alle Clubs, Apres-Ski Bars und Pubs haben die besten DJs wie die Scratch Perverts, The Cuban Brothers oder DJ Yoda am Start für euch. Mayrhofen gleicht in der letzten Woche ein bißchen Berlin zur Zeit der Love Parade. Nur dass die meisten Besucher aus England kommen und auch noch mehr oder weniger zum Snowboarden da sind. Das Format ist ganz easy: Nämlich ein Jam ohne Stress-best Tricks win money...Mehr Musik, Waffeln und Partyfestivität, als ein Contest mit Hussle: Last years HIGHWAY TO HELL pro-comp was run in association with Method.tv and saw more abuse of gravity than a NASA spacewalk. ‘The future of French freestyle’ (copyright our mates at Method Mag) ARTHUR LONGO walked (or rather rode) off with the prize money and plaudits following a dextrous display of devil-may-care scything through the snow.
With 5K prize money, 20+ pros riding in a stress-free jam format, an on-mountain soundsystem from Fingerlickin’ Records, and a custom-built line in Austria’s most famous snowpark, last years standards were high and it was the French crew who really turned up the heat.
Method are on board for the 2008 jam and plans are underway to make it bigger and better than last year.
