The infamous 'MOON' logo is now more than a half-century old and is synonymous with the individuality, attitude, and culture of Southern California. As a teenager growing up in Whittier, California in the 1940’s, Dean Moon’s passion for cars lead him to start the most famous company in hot rodding. To this day, the Mooneyes name stands for quality and integrity in speed and racing equipment.

In the 1970’s Mooneyes and Vans came together to produce the first collaboration between these two iconic companies.... These shoes pay tribute to the unique spirit of originality and dedication that both Mooneyes and Vans came from and continue to support.
